From time to time I will be posting about our experiences building a kit home. We bought the kit from Wide Span Sheds which also supplies metal kits for home frames.
It will be seen that, while we are very happy with the design of the home and the quality of the materials, we have been most disappointed with the efficiency of the delivery and attention to detail.
We live in an area where termites abound. Bush fires are also a consideration. Thus we decided to go with a steel frame and corrugated iron cladding. We have been influenced by the work of Glenn Murcott in this respect.
The work continues.
